SUMMER READING PROGRAM A HIT

While our programs have concluded, "Libraries Rock" lasts all summer long!

THANK YOU to all of the children, families, presenters, and library staff who made Summer Reading 2018 a huge success! More than 100 children and 60 adults benefited from the entertaining and educational programs hosted by the Allison Public Library. Designed to inspire children to continue reading during the summer months, programs included Mini Microbes Underground Band by Michael Luebbers NRCS, Instruments and Tunes by Dr. Dave and Mary Smith with Mason Ford, and Sound Science by the Grout Museum.

All participants received various door prizes and vacation-like experiences brought to Allison. While our programs have concluded, “Libraries Rock” lasts all summer long! Be a Rock Star Reader and receive a frosty freezer treat. The Allison Public Library is a cool place to be on those steamy, humid afternoons.
